Matching Notches

One of the classes I taught this past fall in Novi, MI at the American Sewing Expo, Sew Like A Pro, the participants were able to complete a designer apron without using a single pin or basting using industrial shortcuts. One of the young ladies in class, Roseana Auten, posted the following on her blog Matching Notches: http://matchingnotches.blogspot.com/2010/10/sewing-with-rosebud-in-novi-mi.html
It was a very good class with a group of talented students!

Easy Zippers

I recently stumbled across a few reviews on my Easy Zippers DVD and thought you might to read them also, http://smartflix.com/store/video/5595/Easy-Zippers
Easy Zippers is provides detailed, step by step instructions on how to insert 5 different types of zippers using the Islander Industrial Shortcut Techniques for faster, easier and professional results. The DVD has close up video showing how to insert a centered, lap, invisible, traditional fly and mock fly zipper, all without using a pin or basting. It’s like having Janet and Rosebud with you at your sewing machine. Discover why traditional zipper methods only increase the anxiety level and produce the “homemade" look. But best of all, learn how to overcome those obstacles to yield professional results, easily.
